Writing Space enables the University of Minnesota to assign and grade students’ writing more efficiently and consistently across sections. Students improve their writing and critical thinking skills because they are given more opportunities to practice writing while receiving immediate feedback.

After redesigning College Algebra using MyMathLab in the Emporium model, combined fall and spring success rates increased an average of 11.8 percentage points—from 60 percent to 71.8 percent.
