Hi, I'm here to talk to you about some of the exciting features you'll find in MasteringNutrition.

MasteringNutrition, with MyDietAnalysis, provides instructors with the foundation to help teach the major concepts of nutrition in an extremely dynamic way. Students will be drawn in by the interactive, engaging activities, which leads to greater learning and retention of tough course concepts.

First off, students often think that nutrition is going to be an easy A. But they become overwhelmed by the amount of anatomy, physiology and math that they need to know. They are totally unprepared. Yet, with Foundation Figure Coaching Activities…

Students are presented with colorful, full-page figures that teach them key concepts in nutrition. The visual presentations are bold, clear and detailed. Next, we examine how instructors are looking for interactive ways to present key topics to their students. You can pose a variety of open-ended questions that help your students develop critical thinking skills, while monitoring responses to find out where they're struggling, allowing you to adjust your instructional strategy in real-time. Students are walked through important calculations and provided hands-on practice with wrong-answer feedback. They can watch the videos prior to class and come prepared knowing how to do calculations like body mass index or converting calories to energy. This in turn saves instructors valuable time in the classroom.
