Hi, I'm here to talk to you about some of the exciting features you'll find in MyLab BRADY .

Designed specifically for EMS students and instructors, MyLab BRADY uses tools that provide an engaging study experience for students, while supporting instructors with valuable teaching materials to improve results.

Starting us off, it can be difficult to find students that come to class prepared, largely due to the lack of remediation tools that help promote understanding and long-term retention for the vast array of learners you see. Educators spend a lot of time in the classroom working with the hands-on skills portion of the class, leaving a limited amount of time to review the didactic portion. But with pre-built reading, homework assignments, pretests and posttests...

Students are directed by pre-built reading assignments to pages in an interactive eTexts. They're able to check their understanding by taking a pre-test to identify where they need help. Based on the results of the pre-Test, a personalized homework assignment is generated that includes built in remediation tools where students can look up the information, thus increasing their understanding. After completing the homework, a Post test is launched allowing students to show mastery of those outcomes.

Next, it's difficult for instructors to address specific EMS skills, and show how things work and look on the inside. Students need to master skills in a short time, but also refresh before a skills challenge in class. So with the Multimedia Library...

Instructors and students have access to videos, virtual tours and podcasts that provide a quick refreshers and step-by-step walkthroughs of difficult concepts. Students get a dynamic, clear and visual interpretation of difficult skills.

Also, it may be hard hard to push students to think critically and apply concepts beyond the classroom and in practice. Yet with our well developed, peer reviewed quizzes that are designed to help promote critical thinking...

Students can prepare for real-world pharmacy practice along with the PTCB exam. The quizzes are timed and an excellent activity for students to learn how to appropriately respond in various real-life scenarios.

We continue on by addressing how time consuming downloading and uploading materials into Learning Management systems can be. Or worse yet, creating this content from scratch. However, with Instructor Tools & Gradebook...
