The impact of MyLab Math

MyLab Math is built around principles of effective learning design, based on the scholarship and research in the field of learning science. In 2016, Pearson researchers, in collaboration with faculty at five community colleges in the US, completed a study designed to explore the relationship between the use of MyLab Math and learner outcomes in developmental math courses.

After evaluating the impact of MyLab Math on these learners, we found evidence to support that:

• More students pass the course
• Students improve their scores
• Students succeed in online courses
